I just barley found out about Jim's passing. I will truly miss him. He spent a few years in the Brigham City 3rd Ward where he became a close and loved friend of mine, we spent some cherished time in the Wind Rivers, backpacking. He was a great man. While in the ward he was called as a priest quorum advisers to young men and they grew to love and respect him, spending some time in the class room as well as in the great outdoors. I am looking forward to seeing him again! Just not too soon!!

I have so many special memories of Jim not only from Tensleep but from our Greybull Ward. He befriended me on Facebook and I had fun reconnecting with him after several years. Sending much love and sympathy to his siblings. I’m sorry that I didn’t know Carol.

Jim was my big brother. I remember one time coming home from college and telling him my troubles. He listened and then he just looked at me and said, "Pam, you just have to roll with the punches." He lived through a lot of punches and always had a smile on his face. I never heard him talk bad about other people. I will miss him.

Although I don't remember a lot about Jim while I was younger because he was so much older then me, One thing as an adult that stands out for me is that he always kept in contact by calling me regularly. We had the best visits! And he always told me he loved me and to be good and not do anything that he wouldn't do. The last time I saw him was at mom's funeral and he came up to me and looked me in the eyes and said "I love you Karen"

Growing up I always watched the 'older than me' members of our community closely and learned from the good ones how I should live my life and which path to follow. Even as a little girl, I could tell that Jim was and is a 'Man of God'. He has been a faithful servant of the Lord and paid his dues here on this Earth and prepared himself to join our Heavenly family. May you all mourn with praise and joy for the good example and the good life he lived.

Prayers and thoughts for all the family at this time. Even though I didn't know him closely as he was older, I do remember that Jim had a sweet way about him and when he returned from his mission back to Ten Sleep he positively glowed!
