James Kenneth Clayton's Obituary
Loving son, brother, uncle, father, & grandfather passed peacefully on April 1, 2012. Jim was born on August 5, 1959 to Gary Allen Clayton and Sandra Louise Irvine in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He graduated from Cottonwood High School in 1977 and worked primarily in the Security business. Jim loved bowling and had an incredible hook. He was deemed a “trekkie” by friends and family because of his passion for Star Trek. He was known for his deep baritone voice; his infectious laugh could take over a room. He was proud of being a “lefty”, and was gifted in both art and music.
Jim is survived by his two daughters, Roxanne Clayton, and Andrea (Philip) Kirk; his mother, Sandra Clayton; brothers, Dan (Tina) Clayton, Rick (Lisa) Clayton, Mike (Dawn) Clayton; sisters, Wendy (Steve) Marsh, and Amy (Deven) Ritchie; Also survived by grandchildren, Anthony, Kaden, Joey, Scottie, Rikki & Philip.
The comfort we find in his passing is that he will be greeted in heaven by his father Gary Allen Clayton who preceded him in death.
All services will be held at the Heritage 10th ward located 7645 S. 3200 S. on Friday, April 6, 2012. Viewing from 10:00 a.m. to 11: 45 a.m., Funeral services at 12:00 p.m. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park at 3401 Highland Drive.
