James "Jim" Louis Bacciocco's Obituary
James (Jim) Louis Bacciocco our dear sweet husband, father, grandfather and son passed away
July 15, 2022. Born January 30, 1951 at St. Francis Hospital in San Francis Hospital in San Francisco, California. Jim was the oldest son, of three boys to parents Jack Nicholas and Shirley Steele Bacciocco.
Jim was a graduate of Fremont California's Irvington High School in 1969. He grew up loving and playing sports particularly baseball and football and was a loyal fan to the San Francisco Giants and 49ers. He would tell you one of his many talents was, he could play a “mean radio” and his love for music extended from the Golden Oldies, Doo Wop, Roy Orbison, Motown, and the Eagles just to name a few. He loved classic cars, especially his green '57 Chevy, which he sold to finance his LDS mission, which was to London, England.
Jim's pride and joy was his family, which he was dedicated to taking care of by working 23 years for Coca Cola and later for Frito Lay and Nabisco.
He was always kind and friendly, making friends with whomever he met. He greatly valued his friends and retained high school and missionary companion friendships through the end of his life. Jim was always very thoughtful, remembering a card for everyone he loved on special occasions and holidays. Finally his grandchildren, who he thoroughly cherished and enjoyed, were always the recipient of a box of chocolate doughnuts, a goofy joke or saying, and a dollar or two for their pocket.
Jim is survived by his wife, Janet Snow Bacciocco; his five children and their spouses Laurie Smith (Darin), Shauna Pauni (Sione), Kurtis (Laila), Daniel (Marilee), and Nicholas (Brecca); his two brothers Tom and Steve Bacciocco: and 21grandchildren.
