James Matthew Langston's Obituary
James Matthew Langston was born July 2nd, 1973 in Kingman, Arizona to Jim and Linda Langston.
He passed away on November 29th, 2021 in Orem, Utah. He was the oldest of 7 children. Matthew served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Pocatello, Idaho and made many lifelong friends. Matthew loved a good conversation and was one of the easiest people to talk to. He had an extensive collection of books and loved to read. He was one of the smartest people we know and everyone wanted him on their Trivial Pursuit team. He had a kind and gentle disposition and loved his family, friends, and animals. Matthew struggled with health issues for many years, especially in the last couple of years of his life. We miss him dearly and feel a great void in our family, but are grateful that he is no longer suffering.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jim, and his younger brother, Aaron.
He is survived by his mother, Linda, and his siblings Nathan (Holly) Langston, Rachel (Flavio) Braga, Adam (Seng) Langston, Joshua (Nicole) Langston, Amy (Fabricio) Braga and many nieces and nephews who all love and miss him.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Orem City Cemetery.
