James Craig Lloyd Sr's Obituary
James Craig Lloyd Sr, born on November 12th 1942 in Niagara Falls New York passed away on July 12th 2021 at the age of 78 in his home in West Valley City, Utah surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Dolores Lloyd, his wife Alice Lloyd, daughter Quinn Ward, sister-in-law Nadine Lloyd, grandson's James Lloyd the III and Koda Jarvis. He is survived by his sons James (Bobbie Jo) Lloyd, Daniel (Christine Van Damme), Ernie (Jennifer) Snyder and daughter Dessie O'Hara, Granddaughter Samantha (Raymond) McCullough, sister Karen (Doug) McGinn, brothers David Lloyd, Bill Wilson (Tina) Harris along with many other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In life pops was a retired seaman recruit for the US Navy when he wasn't getting himself in trouble pops also had a long career as a truck driver. After retiring from the Navy Pops loved traveling reliving those times by telling his stories to his loved ones when you could understand him that is blah blah blah blah blah. Pops favorite pastimes were sitting outside enjoying his smokes and people watching, watching TV and flirting with the ladies. Pops always was quite the ladies man. Pops was also known for his infectious smile and that special twinkle in his eyes.
The family would like to say a special thank you to to our amazing neighbors Ken and Nancy Francis Robin, Dennis and Denny Taylor and all the amazing hospice nurses and caregivers who have helped care for him over the past few years. The family will not have services at this time. A celebration of life will be held after cremation is complete and the family can get together close family and friends will be welcome to join please contact Jimmy or Bobbie Jo for any information regarding services or any support you may
