James Arthur 'Hondo' Parry II's Obituary
Sunrise June 11th St Francis Hospital
Lynwood, CA
Sunset July 5th Sandy, UT
Born the 2nd child to James A Parry I and Joan E Hovey (Sloan), passed away from complications of liver cancer in the home he was raised in. Though he put up a fight, he succumbed while held by those closest to him, surrounded by love.
His mother always said that he had the most generous heart and was the cutest little boy ever. James always spread that generosity wherever he went. From construction sites to the homeless, he went out of his way to help others.
Love of the open road led him on many adventures with his true love, Harley Davidson motorcycles. He lived on his terms with a storybook of adventures meant for the movies.
He was a gifted writer and poet, leaving many beautiful thoughts as his memories. Those he left behind will never forget him.
James is survived by his Mother Joan E Sloan (Pete), Father James A Parry I, Sisters Robin (Dan), Belyndia (Dan), Daughters Tawny ( Glen), Cameo (Andrew), Sophia, Candice, Son Odin (Jeri) 18 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, many nephews, nieces, family and friends.
Preceded in death by his wife of 21 years Laurie, Son Thor (Candis) and both sets of grandparents.
Special thanks and recognition to his sister Robin and daughter Tawny for their loving care while traversing his journey with cancer. Thank you to Riverton Oncology and Hospice Home Services.
