James Peacock's Obituary
James Clayton Peacock Jr., born March 11, 1945 in Portland, OR, a kind, gentle, soul, and devout Christian, passed away in his home in Salt Lake City, UT on August 23, 2016, at the age of 71, after losing a valiant battle with cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn Peacock, and six children; James C. Peacock III (Joy), Kacy Stravitz (Matthew), Michael Peacock, David Hewitt, Amy Hewitt and Matthew Hewitt (Hillary), ten grandchildren, mother, Edith Peacock, and sister, Debra Leitner (Steve). His greatest joy and accomplishment in life was the fellowship he enjoyed with others, and his final chapters were dedicated to leading and helping others find peace and happiness through sobriety. His heart and soul has always belonged to his grandchildren as he was their biggest fan. Rest in peace, our beloved Husband, Son, Brother, Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend. The sound of your laughter will never be forgotten, and will be held always close in our hearts and souls. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to
