Thinking of Scott since today is his birthday! Such a great person who would do anything for anyone. Red Cross was lucky to have him as a volunteer and I was fortunate also to call him a friend. Happy heavenly birthday, Scott - you are missed!

Scott was the glue that held together the stage crew and the facility at the Oakland Interstake center and the Oakland Temple Pageant and other activities. He was the first person there providing first aid. He was a dear friend when you got to know him. He had a large heart. He will continue to hover over his loved ones and help them from heaven. My love and prayers are with you.
Scott was a dedicated volunteer for the Red Cross in the Silicon Valley Chapter in San Jose, CA. There wasn't anything Scott wouldn't do. He was always up for anything and whenever we had an event or meeting, he was there with his camera, recording things for posterity.
He leaves a hole in the hearts of his fellow Red Crossers. He was missed already when he moved to Utah, but knowing he will never drop by for a visit saddens me.
Be at peace, Scott.
Scott was a dear neighbor. Often during the winter he would be seen clearing the sidewalk of the cul-de-sac. He offered his help when it was needed and watched over our little area well. It was a treasure to be able to spend some time with Scott this past fall and winter. His genuine heart was thoughtful of others. He shared stories of his fascinating life and adventures he had. We talked about some of his scuba diving experiences and the beautiful scenery and sea life under the ocean. He had a thirst for learning and wanted to know the details and understand the complexities of it. I know he is in a place where he can continue to learn and grow. Scott was a good friend and a caring soul. He will be missed.
One of the nicest human beings ever to grace the Earth....
