It is with a heavy heart that I send our condolences to Lisa and her loved ones. My wife, Nancy and I met Lisa and Jim for dinner in SLC in the mid 1980’s.
Jim was my best friend in ninth grade. In the Fall of that year, we played football on an undefeated team. Jim played linebacker and fullback and I played defensive end and tight end. He was strong, quick and competitive. We both loved that game and that team. Instead of going out for basketball, we skied together (largely at Snow Basin) and in the Spring played baseball for Mount Ogden. Jim was our catcher and best hitter. Whatever we were doing, Jim had a way of making it fun. His sense of humor and smile was contagious.
If you are truly blessed, there are shining moments in your life when you have a best friend like Jim.
