This petite, special woman was fun to be with, her laughter, a cascade of giggles so infectious, you had to laugh, too. Jamie kept her friends.
As she was never mean to anyone, rather, kind and empathetic--a thoughtful, sensitive listener--her career path was not surprising, but admirable. Jamie chose to do what most of us would not.
A giver, not a taker, generous with time and resources, she will be missed by the many who depended upon her for diversion, assistance and love.
I regret not having seen my friend, Jamie, for years, but I shall never forget her.
