Jan A Kelly's Obituary
Jan A. Kelly, 85, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 13, 2024.
Born on February 1st, 1939, in Ogden, UT, to Jack and Blanche Hughes. She was the oldest of their seven children and took that role with pride, helping to care for her younger siblings.
Jan graduated from Skill Center North with a degree in Computer Programming and had a successful career working for Ogden Clinic. After years spent in California and Arizona, she eventually returned to Utah to spend her retirement near her family.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and taking road trips with her sisters. She looked forward to her morning coffee with brother, Frank, and weekly lunch and occasional shopping trip with sister, Jeannie.
Jan is survived by sisters Jeannie Oliver and Diane McKinstry, and brother, Frank Hughes. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers David, Kim, and Rick Hughes, and husband Frank Kelly.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
