Jana Hadley Roberts' Obituary
Jana Hadley Roberts returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 6, 2023, surrounded by friends and loving family. Jana was born January 24, 1962 in Ogden, Utah and lived there most of her life. She graduated from Ben Lomond High School and attended Southern Utah State University. Jana served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Canada. In 2002 she met and married the love of her life, Randy, and they were later sealed in the Temple. She loved being a member of the Church and served faithfully in the Relief Society, including as Counsellor and President; in the Young Women’s Organization; and in the Primary. In fact, Jana’s entire life was one of service and love. From the time she was old enough to babysit, Jana was a favorite of parents and children alike. She was always in high demand and loved the families she worked with. Jana knew how to love everyone unconditionally and whole-heartedly. Almost everyone she came into contact with became a dear friend or adopted family member. Her love was not only through words. She spent many, many hours serving others, usually without being asked. A typical day might find her helping someone to move in the morning, working on a baby quilt or afghan for someone while texting or phoning words of comfort to a fellow cancer patient in the afternoon, and then making and taking a meal to someone else in the evening. She was tireless in her service and unceasing in her loyalty and love. She was a wonderful example to all who knew her and modestly brushed off praise, feeling she was only showing her bountiful love for all. Jana was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Hadley and Joe Ann Allen Hadley, two brothers, James Terry Hadley and Darren Alan Hadley, and an infant son, Quinton. She is survived by her beloved husband, Randy Roberts, and four precious children: Darbie (Chris) Snoke, Bo Roberts, Brittany (Jess) Jessen, and Sean Roberts; ten cherished grandchildren; and a super sweet great-grandson; also three siblings, Christie (Manuel) Legua, Robert (Laurie) Hadley; and Becky Jacobson. She also has an army of nieces and nephews who she adored, and who love her very much. Jana loved to crochet and make other beautiful gifts for people. She loved camping with her family at Sourdough, and every kind of family get-together. Jana will be missed by all who knew her, but we know that she will continue to watch over us and do whatever she can to help us from the other side of the veil.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Primary Children's Hospital. The viewing will be on April 12 at 113 Childs Ave. from 9:00-11:30; funeral services will begin at 12:00; followed by internment at Myers Evergreen Memorial Park
