Jane Eldora Ashby,62, was found on October 12, 2013 after being missing since July 31, 2013. She passed away around August 2, after losing control of her vehicle while coming down middle canyon near Tooele, UT. Jane was born to Mi Read Obituary
Jane meant a lot to me, she helped me with so many things including some of my own family genealogy. More than anything she was a great source of comfort, peace, enthusiasm and love in one of the most difficult times in my life. I will always be grateful to her and my best wishes are with her family.

In behalf of my ex-wife, Melanie Smith Matthews, Jane's cousin, we express our deepest sympathies in your loss. We haven't seen Jane and Grant for many years, but back in the early 1980s we spent time together and shared an interest in researching the Smith family of Tompkins County where we are from. We'll miss Jane and her zest and expertise in family history.
So sorry for the loss of Jane and your dad last December. I remember growing up in the neighborhood they lived in. What a great example they were to all. Thankful they are at peace.
