Janet McCleery Beck's Obituary
“God saw you getting tired, a cure was not to be. He wrapped you in his loving arms and said “Come with me.” You suffered much in silence, your spirit did not bend. You faced your pain with courage, until the very end. You tried so hard to say with us, your fight was not in vain. God took you in his loving arms, and freed you from the pain.”
Janet McCleery Beck was born April 9th 1950 to Donald and Joyce McCleery. Janet returned to her Heavenly home on July 7th 2015.
She lived in the Salt Lake area her entire life, where she attended East High School. For a brief time, she was married to Dale LeFever. From that union, came Janet's pride and joy, her daughter Heidi.
On April 8th, 1978, Janet married her soul mate David Beck. She had the opportunity to have David and her daughter, Heidi, sealed to her in the Salt Lake Temple, following David's death. This was truly a highlights in Janet's life. She loved and missed David deeply.
She was an active member of The Church Of Jesus Christ and Latter Day Saints. She loved the Gospel and had a firm testimony of it. She faced the end of her life with faith and the knowledge in the plan of salvation. Her positive attitude and testimony will long be remembered.
There to greet sweet Janet in heaven was her husband, David, her parents, Joyce and Donald, her sister, Rebecca Mackay, brother-in-law, Jerry Matson. A niece, Robynlynn, a nephew, Nicholas, as well as many other loved ones who went before her.
Sad that she is gone, and missing her are: her daughter, Heidi Longani (Simione).
