Janet Diane Kjar Hughes' Obituary
Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Janet Diane Kjar Hughes, passed away March 10, 2020 in Ogden, Utah. Janet was born December 17, 1941 in Manti, Utah to Eleanor Kjar Madsen and Ronald Kjar. She married R. Dee Hughes.
Janet enjoyed sewing, playing the piano, gardening, reading and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband; children, Teresa Dunford (Thom), Ronald Hughes, Chad Hughes, Jeanette Harmon (Bob), JoAnne Martines (Richard) and Kenneth Hughes (Jami); 13 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, son, grandson, 2 brothers, brother-in-law, and her mother and father-in-law.
Graveside services will be held Friday, March 13th, 1:00 pm at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Mount Pleasant, Utah. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6 – 8 pm at Premier Funeral Services, 5335 So. 1950 W. Roy.
