Janice Carolyn (Reeves) Albright's Obituary
Janice passed away Thursday May 16th 2024 in Ogden Utah. Janice was born November 27th 1935 to Allen and Virginia Reeves. She attended Ogden City Schools and graduated from Ogden High School in 1954.
In December of 1954 she married Jack Albright and raised 6 wonderful children with the help of her loving family.
Janice volunteered as a teacher’s aide for Dee Elementary School and then worked for the IRS before starting her career at Hill Air Force Base where she retired after 20 years of service in July 1995. After retirement she worked as a hospital aide.
Janice who everyone called mama loved her children and had a special fondness for animals, little children, and babies. She was very outgoing and made friends easily and was a member of the LDS church.
She is Survived by one brother: Michael (Tralena) Reeves, six children; Karin (Bruce) Coulter, Steven (Dawn) Albright, Mark (Maureen) Albright, Darrin (Leisa) Albright, Phillip (Dianne) Albright, and David (Jennifer) Albright. Mama was also survived by 18 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, ex-husband, one brother Allen Reeves and five sisters; Mary Reeves, Betty Reeves, Becky Reeves, Patty Udy and Nancy West.
A graveside service will be held in mama’s honor Thursday May 23rd 2024 at 11am at the Ogden city Cemetery.
