Jared Gregg Finlinson, 16, of Kaysville, Utah, passed away on September 26, 2017. He was born on March 9, 2001 in Salt Lake City. He is survived by his parents, Gregg and Kim Finlinson and his older sisters, Makel (Jared) Harley, Kirsten and Natalie. Grandparents, Steven and Elaine Finlinson and Sylvia Barney. Preceded in death by his grandfather, Phil Barney and his uncle, Robert Finlinson. Jared was a quiet, fun loving punk who loved teasing, tickling and tormenting his sisters. Everybody loved a hug from Jared. He loved playing football, fishing, swimming, four wheeling, camping and was a crack shot with a rifle. His dream was to be a police officer, like his grandfather. He was, is, and always will be deeply loved and greatly missed by his family and friends.
His funeral will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the LDS church (270 W. Burton Ln, Kaysville, UT). There will be a viewing prior to services from 10:15 to 11:45 am. Interment at the Kaysville City Cemetery.
