It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jared Raymond Roberts. Jared was born September 29, 1976 to Bruce and Beverly Linford Roberts. He will be missed by all who knew him. Jared grew up in North Ogden. He was act Read Obituary
Met Jared at the U of U. Ill remember him for being a caring extraordinary leader. He was always looking out for others.
One memory is a trip we took the Little Sahara sand dunes with some friends. He took off on a dirt bike in the middle of the night without any lights. I said "that seems dangerous, he replied "that's the fun part!!"
Jared was a good friend of mine. We met at the University of Utah Hospital, where I also work. He shared his love of skydiving with me and I went skydiving with him, and my grandchildren. We had many long talks. Work will never be the same. My deepest, heartfelt condolences.
A great dad! He was a legend. Andon, be strong, take care of yourself, your little brother and Mom. Remember, we are all here for you.

My biggest support and best friend. The best travel partner. Best dad. Favorite memory was swimming with manarays, and anything involving the ocean. And getting engaged at basin brunch even though I was so bloated from so much food. Love you with my whole heart my love.
Jared was always up for an adventure. My boys loved hanging out with Uncle Jared. He taught them to be little daredevil and live life to the fullest. I will never forget our Yellowstone trip and having to scrape the inside of the windshield as we drove. lol You will live forever in our hearts. 💕
Goofy and funny just like my dad... He was like a second father to all of us who grew up around Andon. From taking us snowboarding at basin, to dirt biking, coaching us in football, golfing, and cracking jokes with us like he was one of us younger boys. Andon, I might be speaking on behalf of all our friends, but growing up we all thought your dad was cool as hell.

Another memory I have is a bunch of us went up to Bear lake for the weekend and we went to this dance. It was pretty crowded and someone shoved me into a group of guys - now I was pretty small then - and they turned around and tried to fight me but Jared quickly jumped between us and told them if we were fighting they were fighting him! They backed down pretty quick! I definitely owed him.
First thing I think of about Jared was in high school wearing his hat backwards and jamming to 311!
