Jared Thacker's Obituary
Jared Thacker passed away in a fatal car accident on January 27, 2022 just shy of his 42nd birthday which would have been on February 17. Jared was a resident of Clearfield, Utah.
Jared still had a lot to live for. His parents David and Kathy Thacker relied on and appreciated Jared’s willingness to be there whenever needed. He loved to complete tasks they didn’t even know needed done until he’d already completed it. Jared made the love of his life into his wife on October 17, 2008 and together Jared and Bre loved their 6 children. Jaydon, the oldest, lived with his mom and the relationship was always growing and Jared looked forward to all the opportunities to be there for him. Dylan is so much like Jared in that he is another big brother to not only his siblings but to the world as well, he and his dad shared a love of fashion, hot wheels and shoes although their tastes differed slightly. Alis is a Daddy’s girl through and through and although she was the most outgoing of the daughters it allowed for so many more opportunities for them to create additional memories. Liberty is the middle daughter and Jared was always so excited to name her, even before we had even thought about having her, she has her daddy’s love of art and appreciation for solitude. Jordyn inherited his dad’s love for all things full of sugar! In addition to that Jordyn showed Jared it is more fun to play with your toys than collect them all, we had hot wheels tracks all over the place for a period of time. Micah is the newest addition to our family, she easily got the most cuddles and lulled her daddy to sleep for naps and nunnight time with ease. Jared was so excited to get Micah started with an early appreciation for shoes and was so proud of their matching Jordans.
Jared was a family man and was proud to be the one that everyone could and did rely on. His sisters Sharon, Holly, Dixie and Katie could always reach out to him for anything from reminiscing in their childhood memories to maintenance or moving requests. It did not stop there for Jared as he made sure that he was there for everyone in his life, Jared didn’t have friends he had more family that just wasn’t blood related.
Jared was predeceased by his brother Nicholas Thacker, grandparents Irwin Jr. Thacker, Alton and Francis French, niece Emma Thomason, mother in law Bridgett Hughes and sister in law Brooke Turner.
Jared is survived by his wife Bre Thacker. Children Jaydon Thacker, Dylan Thacker, Alis Thacker, Liberty Thacker, Jordyn Thacker, Micah Turner (Thacker pending adoption) and special mention Ryder Connor. Parents David and Kathy Thacker. Siblings Sharon Jackman, Holly Tuft, Dixie Thomason, Katie Osborn, Justin Hughes and Joyce Hirsch. Grandmother Nadine Thacker, as well as so many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
