Jay Muir Bodily's Obituary
Jay M Bodily, 79, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at his son's home in Brigham City, Utah, surrounded by his family. Jay was born on April 24, 1939 in Clinton, Utah. He was a son of Harland and Ruth Bodily. Jay attended school at Davis High School. On February 17, 1961, Jay married Blanche Oman. On February 22 they were sealed in the Las Vegas temple. He was a high priest in the LDS Church. Jay was a truck driver and a business owner. In 1998 he retired and moved to Fort Mojave, Arizona. His number one hobby was collecting and restoring old cars and trucks.
Jay is survived by his wife Blanche, and 5 sons - Jay M (Tammy)Bodily, Jr., Brent (Vicki [Deceased]) Bodily, Karl (Lois) Bodily, Travis (Tereasa) Bodily, and Lance (Kelly) Bodily. Jay has 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his siblings Fern (Kent) Lee, Dorman Bodily, and Dale (Jean) Bodily. He is preceded in death by his son Tony, his parents, 1 brother, and 3 sisters.
We welcome friends and family to visit on Thursday, May 10 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm at Premier Funeral Services in Roy, UT. Services will be held immediately after. Jay will be laid to rest in the Clinton Cemetery.
