Jay H Linam's Obituary
Jay H. Linam, 90 years of age, passed away December 17, 2021, after a 3 1/2-year battle
with bladder cancer. He was born 03/09/1931 in Carey, Idaho, to parents Hyrum and
Ethel Linam. Jay achieved his PhD in Entomology at the University of Utah, where
he met his wife, Betty. They moved to Pueblo, Colorado where he enjoyed a distinguished
career and retired as Emeritus Professor of Biology at Colorado State University-Pueblo. Jay
touched many lives through his teaching, mentoring and friendships. Preceded in death
by his beloved wife, Betty, and son-in-law, Tyson Schiff. Survived by his children, Kevin Linam of California, and Lisa Schiff of Utah. At his request there will be no viewing or services. Jay chose to be cremated under the care of Premier Funeral Services. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Jay H.
