Jean Williams' Obituary
Jean was born on February 3, 1951, in Richmond, California. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend whose love and presence touched everyone who knew her.
She was married to her beloved husband, Gilbert Williams, and together they shared many years of love and companionship. They enjoyed traveling, often taking trips by train and wearing matching outfits—creating memories that reflected their deep bond and joy for life.
Jean was the proud mother of five children and loved each of them deeply. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Jean had a vibrant spirit and a personality that could light up any room. She made people laugh effortlessly and was never too old to enjoy life. She truly lived life to the fullest.
She loved family gatherings—eating, talking, dancing, and simply being surrounded by the people she loved most. Music was her domain and brought her so much joy.
Jean also had a giving heart and devoted time to serving her community, including volunteering at local food banks. She found happiness in helping others and always showed up for those in need.
She was known for her signature red lipstick, a reflection of her bold, confident, and lively spirit.
Jean dedicated many years of her life working at Primary Children’s Hospital, where she later retired. Her work was a reflection of her compassion and her desire to care for others.
Jean is reunited in peace with her beloved husband, Gilbert Williams; her parents, Ona Jean Coax and John Davis; and her brothers Elliott Davis, Tyrone Davis, and Kelvin Davis.
She is lovingly survived by her children:

Her siblings:

and Larry Davis;
as well as 23 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and a large extended family of relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Premier Funeral Home, 67 E 8000 S, Midvale, Utah 84047. A memorial gathering will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Sugar House Park, 1330 E 2100 S, Salt Lake City, Utah. Family and friends are invited to join in sharing food, memories, and celebrating Jean’s life together
