Jeff McMullen's Obituary
Jeff McMullen was born in Pipestone, Minnesota on Jan. 26, 1960. He grew up in Jackson, Wyoming and always had a deep love for the Tetons.
He was married to Ann Petroni-McMullen for 32 years. They have two children, Renzo and Natalie. He is also survived by his mother, Barbara, and three siblings.
Jeff graduated from the University of Wyoming with a BS and MS in mechanical engineering. He worked for many years at L3 Communications in Salt Lake City.
He retired early to be an organic lavender farmer with Ann in Tetonia, Idaho. He worked with his son, Renzo, and his friend Greg to build a barn on the farm. He loved staying up to date with new technology with his daughter, Natalie. They worked together to learn to fly drones. They also roasted coffee together. He loved music and he loved to play guitar with both of his children. They loved playing with him. He and his son loved looking for guitars of all types. He had a wry and dry sense of humor. He loved seeing people laugh. Jeff was an engineer and carpenter who really could fix anything.
Jeff loved the Tetons, was an outdoorsman, and few things satisfied him quite like breathing in fresh mountain air. He always loved skiing with his children and hiking with his family. Jeff was the first to offer to help anyone in need. He would stop whatever he was doing to be of immediate aid.
He gave everything he had to his family, who he always put before anything else, and he always wanted to take care of everyone.
