My cousin (his daughter, Laynie) we're very close growing up, we saw each other basically every weekend. We'd walk often back and forth from Uncle Taynes to Grandmas house. We went camping a ton too and remember Uncle Tayne being a great cook. He always had his Tabasco sauce with him. I remember movie nights, birthday parties and going to the carnival too. We'll miss you!
Dear Nielsen Family!
We are so sorry for your loss! Tayne will be missed. I have many fond memories of being Tayne’s hunting partner out near Strawberry Reservoir as a youth. We had many wonderful experiences together. Hiking along side him up Bjorkman Hollow was always very eventful. On one particular occasion, we surprisingly came upon a huge herd of mule deer that was just above us on a ledge as we were silently (as silent as two boys could be, ha!) making our way up the creek bottom. Just 15~20 yards away, the big bucks bleated, grunted and made all sorts of snorting sounds that was quite an astonishing loud spectacle. It looked so regal. Their raised outstretched necks and stiff legs standing there as sentinels for the herd. The condensation streams that came out their mouths and noses looked amazing on that cold early morning in October! It left an indelible memory. So much more I could tell you. May our Heavenly Father’s choicest blessings be upon your entire family at this time of bereavement. Our deepest thoughts and prayers will be for you!
Best wishes always,
