Jeffory D. Long's Obituary
Jeffory D. Long 71, passed away at home on February 1, 2026.
Jeff was born on December 7, 1954 in Salt Lake to Robert Lee Long and Alpha Darlene Depue.
He grew up in Oregon, graduating from Siuslaw High School in 1973, where he was a state championship wrestler, athlete and musician. He received his Associates Degree in 1983 from ISU.
May 24,1975 he married his wife, LaDawn Berry, they were both musicians playing throughout Oregon, Idaho, Utah and Wyoming.
He was an accomplished musician in studio recording, arranging, teaching. His best gig was the one at Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church for 30 plus years as a worship leader and drummer/percussionist in the band.
Jeff was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Melissa and both his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, 3 children; Brandi (Isaac), Kevin, Kaity {Dario}, 4 grandchildren Cheylyn {Josh} Isaac {Jayden} Rylan and Vyktor, and great grandsons; Paxton and Rykker.
A celebration will be held at a later date.
