Jeffrey Earl Goble's Obituary
Jeffery Earl Goble passed away on March 19, 2026. His life was complex and deeply human, marked by both challenges and moments that shaped those around him in lasting ways.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Margaret Goble, and his brothers, Johnny and Jimmy.
Jeffery is survived by his son, Brandon (Stephanie) Goble of Central Valley, UT; his daughter, Ashlee (Mike) Wasden of Lindon, UT; and his beloved grandchildren, Riley, Kylee, Whitley, Hailee, Kynlee, and Gage. He is also survived by his sister, Laurie (Scott) Solomon of St. George, UT; his sister-in-law, Jodi Goble of Gunnison; along with several nieces and nephews.
Jeff had many talents and was brilliant in so many ways. He inherited a love of music and his talent from his parents and was especially gifted at playing the piano. Most didn’t know that he couldn’t read music, yet he could listen to nearly any song and immediately play it by ear. He loved music and enjoyed goofing off and sharing laughs with his brother Jimmy. Jeff and his brothers spent many years working together for their dad, cleaning and processing seed. He also loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.
Jeff later started a landscaping business in St. George, where he showed an incredible ability to create beautiful landscapes. He took pride in hard work and in providing his customers with pristine, high-quality results. Jeff was known to many people in many different ways—some good, some challenging—but one thing no one could deny was his ability to have fun. He had a way of making even the most ordinary tasks enjoyable.
Though his path in life was not always easy, Jeffery was a part of a family that continues on through the lives of his children and grandchildren. In quiet ways and complicated ones alike, he leaves behind a story that will not be forgotten.
In his passing, we hope he has found peace from his troubled life, and that the struggles he carried are now gone.
A graveside service will be held on April 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Gunnison Cemetery for close friends
