Jeffrey D. Jones South Jordan, Utah 5/21/1961 - 1/29/2021.
Jeff passed away peacefully January 29, 2021 at his home in South Jordan, Utah surrounded by loved ones.
Jeff was born May 21, 1961 in Grand Island Nebraska to Larry W. Jones and Frances F. Thayer. He was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. later moving to Big Bear, California where he graduated from Big Bear High School. He attended college in California and Nevada.
Jeff moved to Salt Lake City where he met and married his wife Lisa Haws, July 11 1987.
Together they had one son, Payton. Jeff and Payton were each other’s best friend.
Jeff was quick witted and had a great sense of humor. He was able to make you laugh at anything. He had the best comebacks for anything that was thrown at him.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Lisa, their son, Payton (Azia), his brother,
Wayne (Joey), sister Laurie, 2 nephews and 3 nieces. He is preceded in death by his father Larry, his mother Fran and mother and father in law, Ted and Patsy Haws.
There will be no services at this time. There will be a celebration of Jeff’s life at a later date.
