Jeffrey Dowell Smith
1944-2021
Salt Lake City, UT—Jeffrey Dowell Smith was born July 11, 1944, to Joseph (Mack) McKinnon Smith and Bertha Leona (Leone) Grames Smith. He died at his home of natural causes July 19, 2021. Jeff had an amazing life! Living his dream of riding motorcycles led to his very large impact in the British Bike Club. Through this association he met and kept forever friends from around the world. He loved being behind the wheel and driving—which he did expertly. He is predeceased by his parents and brother, Randall (Randy) Lee Smith. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Stephanie S. and Alonzo (Lon) Hinckley; sister-in-law, Audrey Nielson Smith; and nine nieces and nephews, Jonathan, Larissa, Jaren, Joel, Aaron, Matthew, Katy, Janeen and Daniel. We are grateful to Jeff's close friends, Richard, Bill, and Gordon, who will honor him with a celebration of his life at this year's British Field Day— SLC's all British car and motorcycle event— Saturday, August 28th at noon at Liberty Park.
