I first met Jenna in 6th grade and was instantly struck by how funny and beautiful she was. She would always give you the warmest smiles and I loved her passion for French. I wished I really reached out a bit more in 7th grade and really talked a bit more because of how awesome she was but I was a bit shy
I had switched schools after 7th grade but occasionally I would randomly think about her. I was deeply heartbroken and immediately broke out in tears when I found out that she had gotten bitten by a car and had died after a week. I’m still crying to this day because of the radiance she had left in my life. My condolences go to her family who I’m sending my prayers to. Fly high Jenna 🕊️❤️

I met Jenna in 6th grade and I remember one time me and Jenna and Sydney hall went to rush fun plex and had lots of fun playing in the foam pit bullying and go carts we got a big ice cream after and and she introduced the song shotgun by George Ezra and showed me a dance to it that has stuck with me and my siblings to this day I will miss her so much we love you Jenna

I first met Jenna in 6th grade. She was so fun to be around. We would talk and laugh together. She even came up with the nickname for me of Olaf. (From Frozen)

Last year I went to FSY with Jenna. She was so spiritual and was so kind to everyone. When we first got there we made a video of her trying to get on her bed because they were so tall. We couldnt stop laughing. She made FSY such a good experience.

Jenna has been such a good role model in my life. I have always looked up to her. I always tried to love like she did. She cared about everyone around her. Even if you didn't know her she would come up to you if you were alone or sad. She was always smiling. She was such a light in my life. Love you Jenna! ❤️

I met Jenna when I was on stage crew for the Fall Play at Willowcreek. I remember watching the first run through and being simply shocked at how talented she was, it was an honor to work with her.

I didn’t know her very well, but I know she’s an amazing, kind, thoughtful, pure, sweet, beautiful ray of sunshine. Whenever I see a photo of her I can’t help but think about how beautiful she is. I know she always left a trail of joy, love and laughter wherever she went and she always seemed to touch everyone’s hearts and make their day better along the way.

On one of the last days of school I was really struggling. I had been in the bathroom and when I walked out there was only one other person in the hallway. Jenna. She saw me, smiled, waved, and said “Hi!” And that small gesture meant the world to me. With a simple smile, wave and hello, Jenna shined her bright light and helped guide me out of the dark.

She will forever be in my prayers, thoughts and my heart. I hope she knows how loved she truly is. I miss you and I love you so much Jenna, I can’t wait to see you again. Fly high sweet girl 💚💚

I first met Jenna when she was a TA in my social dance class. She was so good at dancing and one of the prettiest people I had ever seen. The next year I was in drama with her. I had barely known her from the year before, but I knew her a lot better than a lot of other people in that class. I go to know her a lot better in drama. I even went over to her house for new years. A celebration we were planning to do next year too. I knew Jenna for her confidence, kindness, and beauty. Sitting at the lunch table with her and everyone else and just goofing off was the highlight of my school days. I'm already missing her presence so much. Fly high Jenna 🕊️️💚

I was blessed to be Jenna’s seminary teacher. She modeled Christlike love and diligent learning in the classroom. Jenna is a teacher in her own right, she had the capability to ask inspired questions that engaged her peers. Jenna provided clear gospel truths when I over complicated things. She was unafraid to share herself with the class. Jenna liked to tease her close classmates, which made the class laugh and created unity. I think she had a unique spirituality and relationship with Christ that was evident from my perspective. She was gracious in thanking me after class. Jenna is my friend, I am honored to have been her seminary teacher. I witnessed her light, testimony, love and faith in Jesus Christ, including the plan of salvation. We frequently spoke about Jesus’ binding relationship with Jesus Christ even in our vexing times. Jena has graduated from this mortal life, she is forever encircled by His love. I miss her deeply, I can’t wait to learn from her again. Jena lives, and continues to gather Israel on the other side of the veil. She is near, and her light will always remain in our hearts. I like to think, serves us as our ministering angel. Especially her family.

I was Jenna's English teacher last year...but in truth, she was MY teacher in all things kind, patient, forgiving, generous, and gentle. She always walked into my class with a gentle smile on her face, with her besties with her. She gave every assignment her best work, which reminded me to make sure the assignment was worthy of my students. She thought of others first, and helped create an environment of safety and community. When I learned of her injuries, my heart ached. I've walked where Jenna's family has walked, and is walking. However, Jenna has left an indelible footprint on our souls, and thus is still a powerful force for good. When I walk into my classroom this fall, I walk with Jenna's memory in my heart...I will treat all as she would have. She is my teacher.

I've known Jenna since late elementary school, and I cannot tell you how amazing she was. We were in the 6th grade play together as flowers in Alice in Wonderland, and I remember a couple weeks before school got out, she sent me that video of our little selves being all sassy and rude, and we laughed so hard. I remember also going to her for all things French. I was constantly getting help on our assignments, and she spoke so well!

I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful daughter.
My daughter was on the receiving end of a tragedy like yours. She was so very sick and due to die in a few days. That is when I got the call saying a liver was available for her. Of course I was thrilled and sooo thankful. But I want you to know I also had a feeling of mourning for the family of the doner.
I remember going to the tiny hospital bathroom in the ICU , where I could lock the door and not be disturbed. I knelt down on that cold tile floor and poured my heart out in prayer. I thanked Him for this precious gift of a liver. But then I prayed much longer asking him to bless and comfort the donors family and loved ones.
I just wanted you to know how thankful the recipients family is, but also know we mourn for you too.
