Jennifer Jeane Berube's Obituary
Jennifer Berube of South Jordan, UT, returned to heaven on February 18, 2014, after a courageous two-year battle against brain cancer. Her sweetness, patience and cheerful attitude inspired so many. She was born in Orem, UT, on December 10, 1990, to Eric and Heather Berube. She attended elementary school in Taylorsville and then in South Jordan, where she finished her primary education. A gifted musician and accomplished artist, Jennifer had a graceful and natural sense of style. She won several art awards including Best of Show at Bingham High School’s art show and graduated from there in 2009.
From 2007 to 2010, she worked at JCPenney. From 2010 until 2012, she worked as a barista in coffee shops, a job she loved for its required creativity and skill in crafting a perfect drink including “latte art”. She recently did volunteer work at Carrington Court Assisted Living. Jennifer is survived by her parents, four younger siblings: Christina Berube Quilter, her husband KC, and their son James – all of South Jordan; Elder Jacob Berube (currently serving a LDS mission in Tokyo, Japan); Megan Berube and Joshua Berube, of South Jordan. Jennifer is also survived by both sets of grandparents, Robert and Ellen Berube of Highland, UT, and Doyle and Valerie Briggs of Idaho Falls, ID, and by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of wonderful friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, February 22, at the LDS Chapel on 2550 West 9800 South. A viewing will be held prior to services from 9:30 – 10:40am. Interment will be at South Jordan Memorial Park (10650 South 1055 West).
The Berube Family wishes to thank family, friends, members and friends of the South Jordan 4th Ward for their love, service and support and Intermountain Homecare for their compassionate care.
