Jennifer Dillard's Obituary
Jennifer Dillard moved on from this life on Monday, May 20, 2024.
She was born on June 25, 1972, to Elmer Roy Dillard and Helen Patricia Dillard in Murray, Utah.
Jennifer spent her childhood in Sandy, Utah, attending Edgemont Elementary School, Eastmont Middle School, and graduating from Jordan High School.
She was known for her quirky sense of humor and was quick to share her opinions. Jennifer was sassy, funny, understanding of others, outgoing, and kind. Her family fondly recalls many stories of her as a young girl being silly with friends, collaborating with her siblings to prank their father, Roy, and using almost an entire can of hairspray in the '80s. She also had a love for cows, collecting cow trinkets, towels, bedspreads, and rugs. While this obsession faded over the years, her good heart remained unchanged.
Jennifer worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years alongside her mother and sister. She was known for her kindness and for going above and beyond in caring for the elderly residents under her care. She also worked with individuals who have disabilities.
She had three children: Cassandra, Seth, and Jayden, of whom she was very proud. She loved attending programs her children participated in and saved everything from report cards to art projects. Coming from a large family of seven children, Jennifer greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and spent most weekends with her kids at her parents' home.
Jennifer is survived by her children Cassandra, Seth, and Jayden; her mother Helen (Pat) Dillard; her siblings Marlene, Christine, James, Scott, Amanda, and Tessa; and her four nephews and five nieces. She was predeceased by her father Elmer and her sister Suzanne, who was stillborn.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at noon at the Sandy Central Stake Center, followed by a luncheon.
Address: 1050 East Galena Drive, Sandy, UT 84094
All are welcome to attend.
