Jennifer Louise Jacobs Donkin's Obituary
Jennifer Louise Jacobs Donkin was born on June 22, 1975 and joined two older sisters to become the third child to Joseph and Letha Jacobs in Weiser, Idaho. She would be followed by 4 other siblings in the next 7 years.
Jennifer spent most of her childhood years in Weiser, Idaho. She graduated from Capital High School in Boise, Idaho in 1993 after moving there with her family while she was in high school.
After high school graduation, she moved to Utah where she met her first husband, Adam Farley. They were married soon after they met in 1993 and had their daughter Felicia in August of 1994 in Idaho. They got divorced in 1998. Jenni moved to Michigan briefly and then Utah where she then met her second and current husband Jonathan Donkin later that year. They were married in August of 1999 in the Salt Lake Temple. They had three children in the following 22 years of their marriage.
Jennifer was well loved. She loved being a mother and was devoted to her children with all of her heart. She loved being a wife, a sister, a daughter, and a friend. She lit up a room, loved people of all stations in life, and loved to help anyone down on their luck when possible.
She held many different positions of employment in her life. She was a great people person! The last position she held was as a legal secretary/receptionist for 18 years for Chapman and Cutler, LLC in their Salt Lake City office; until her illness would not let her work any longer.
Jennifer loved to collect anything Wonder Woman, Raggedy Ann and Andy and turtles! She loved the color orange. In Disney movies, she loved the villains, especially Maleficent. She was very talented in many things such as baking, decorating cakes, writing poetry, crafts, and especially crocheting. She could be very creative in designing items that she would produce and give away! She was a lover of all of the arts. She even wrote a screenplay for a local playhouse! She also had a mischievous sense of humor, loved karaoke, and loved to have fun!
Jennifer passed away peacefully at home after a four year battle with cancer on October 29, 2020. She will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved her!
She is survived by her husband, Jonathan; her 4 children-Felicia Hunt (Kyle), Emily, Sean, and Victoria; her 4 grandchildren-Avienda, Kazimier, Ronnie, and Myrah; her father-Joseph Jacobs (Wynette); her siblings-Amy Lake (Tom), Molly Smith (Thom), Heather Moss (Brian), Joseph Jacobs (Jen) , Courtney Jacobs (Barb) and Tiffany Carter (Mitch).
