Shannon Anstead, Ed.S.
I was shocked and saddened to see under "Deaths" in the Spring 2021 Y Magazine that sweet "Sister Godbold" has passed. I got to know Jenn while serving my mission in the Utah South Mission. We always hoped we'd be companions, but it was not meant to be - however, we were in the same Zone and had many opportunities to get together. I can still see her radiant smile - she was ALWAYS smiling, ALWAYS cheerful, and ALWAYS positive - no matter what. I would not be surprised if Jenn has once again been 'Called to Serve' and is sharing her love of the Savior with her brothers and sisters who have passed beyond the veil. Everyone who met Jenn can attest to her sweet spirit and how loved and special she made them feel. I will always remember her example. I feel blessed to have known her. I extend my sincerest condolences to Jenn's family. I am sure she is greatly missed by all her loved ones.
Sincerely, Shannon Jones Anstead
