Jennifer Kay Larson (Burke)'s Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jennifer Kay Larson, 63, of West Jordan, Utah, who left us on November 21, 2024. Jenny was born on September 17, 1961, in Pocatello, Idaho, and was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, after moving there as a young girl.
Jenny married her loving husband, Hal Larson, on October 9, 1992, and together they shared over three decades of love, laughter, and companionship. She was a devoted mother to Billy Ames, Jesse Vosburg, Danny (Lisa) Vosburg, and Brittney (Nick) Jensen. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to Jacob Vosburg, Piper Vosburg, Faith Vosburg, Destany Jensen, and a great-grandmother to Robin Vosburg.
Jenny was the beloved sister of Michael (Carol) Burke and Linda (Jeff) Tronrud, and the daughter of Arlene Bunting Boyce. She was a cherished aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Jenny was preceded in death by her father, Boyd Burke, in 1988.
Jenny’s kindness, warmth, and wicked sense of humor made her a joy to be around. She had a special ability to bring light and laughter into any room. Above all, Jenny loved spending time with her family. Whether it was sharing a meal, creating memories during Christmas, or just enjoying the simple moments together, her family was always at the heart of her life.
A talented crafter, Jenny found joy in creating beautiful, handmade blankets and decorations, often sharing her work with loved ones as tokens of her love. Her creativity was matched only by her generosity and the care she took in everything she did.
Jenny will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on through the countless memories she leaves behind.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024, from noon until 2:00 pm, at Premier Funeral Services, 67 East 8000 South, Salt Lake City, Utah.
Jenny, your love will remain with us always, and your memory will continue to bring smiles and laughter, just as you did in life.
