Jennifer D Marinos' Obituary
Jennifer D. Marinos
June 10, 1971 – December 18, 2021
On December 18, 2021 I lost my little girl and my best friend. Jennifer left behind the love of her life, her granddaughter Hadlee James.
When Jennifer was just a kid, she loved going to the ballfield to watch her Uncle Mike play ball. Uncle Mike was always her hero. They were very close until his death. He passed on December 18, 2016. I’m sure Mike and Granny came to get her.
She was like peanut butter and jelly with her Granny. From the moment she was born, she was Granny’s little angel girl. She took care of Granny to the end. Jennifer was also with her Grandpa George until he passed. Jennifer also took care of her dad, Ron Mitchell who was very dependent on her. She was compassionate and caring for those she loved.
Jennifer was a successful business person. She started out waiting tables at John’s Place and soon became the owner and operator for 7 years. Jennifer loved to gamble. She always won because she could read cards. One night we went to Mesquite and lost $1,000 and we laughed all the way home.
Jennifer is survived by her mom Peggy Rich; daughter Madison and granddaughter Hadlee; brother Tony Jones and niece Chloe Jones; Aunts Eileen and Dianna; wonderful friend Mike Weaver. Preceded in death by her father Alan Rich; son-in-law Tyson Walters; grandparents Elaine & George Cornia; uncles Mike, Laine (Kaylyn) and Jim Anderson; grandpa Burt Jones.
“Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near; still loved, still missed and very dear.”
No more pain, little girl. You are now with the ones you love. You are with the angels. I love you and miss you, Bestie. You will forever be in my heart. Love Mom
A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date.
