Jerry Wayne Cravens August 7, 1950 to April 24, 2021
“To Know Me Is to Love Me…….I’ll Wait”. On April 24, 2021 Jerry Wayne Cravens 70 years old left this world for a better place. He was born on August 7, 1950 in Jamestown Tennessee to Aubrey Paden Cravens. He was raised in Nashville, Tennessee. He married Barbara Drake in 1969 and they had two children together, Kelli Shantel Jackson and Erron Guy Cravens. They later divorced. On May 19, 1979 he married the Love of His Life Beatrice Sanchez in Houston Texas and they had a Special Little Angel Jason Wayne Cravens. Jerry worked in many fields but most enjoyed working with people. He worked for Parker Hannifin, Eagle Hardware, Lowes and for many years at Patriot Car Wash. He loved helping, teasing and joking with his customers and considered many of them his friends. He was a hard worker and filled the world with Love and Laughter. He was a devoted husband and father and was loved by many people whom he befriended with his eternal happy and positive attitude. His friendliness was contagious and he would stop and help any stranger that caught his attention. Many well wishers visited him in the hospital Hospice Center. He left an indelible mark of loving kindness on many hearts. He had a special place in his heart for children and animals. He will be greatly missed. Jerry is survived by his wife Bea, daughter Kelli, son Erron, grandson Shane Bush, granddaughter Erin Cravens, eleven great grandchildren, best friend Ken Golding and family, 6 Little Fur Babies, and many wonderful in-laws friends and neighbors. He was met by his son Jason Wayne Cravens and grandson Dillon Christopher when he left this world and was escorted to a Wonderful Place by them. Goodbye my Love. I’m a better person for knowing you and I will see you again. (Forty-One Long Miserable Years-Almost 42-I Miss You Terribly Already).
In lieu of a service the family requests that each person say a kind word to a stranger or animal or perform a random act of kindness in Jerry's memory and spread a little Love to brighten the world and make it a Better Place.
