Jerry Lee Noland's Obituary
Jerry Lee Noland
1944 - 2022
It is with great sadness that we lost our rock Jerry Noland on Friday, February 4th, 2022. He struggled with Parkinson's Disease and after working so hard to always stay vertical we finally lost him to one last fall.
As a young man, he was immediately successfully working in the electronics industry and he advanced in that field long before it was really a thing. He designed and built a digital clock before they even existed on the market. His lifelong career was as a field service engineer mostly in the healthcare industry building, installing, and repairing radiology equipment.
He was a hard worker and never showed his fatigue as we would commute over an hour each way to work every day, go to night school for many years to earn his degree while taking care of his family and beloved wife as if it was just another walk in the park.
He was a strong gentle soul that would influence and improve the lives of everyone around him. His approach was calm and constant while leading by example. If he did raise his voice and that was almost never, you knew he meant business.
He was funny and always had a joke or a pun and it became something to expect and look forward to. His smile was infectious and just made your heart happy.
He was married to Judith Noland for 51 years and is the father of Randy Noland (Remy), Rhonda Noland Sherbin, Scott Noland, Allen Melton (Caroline) and Karen Arambulo (Eddie).
He was the proud grandfather of Lynde James, Anita Melton, Shane Melton, KC Hardy (Lisa), RJ Sherbin (Samantha), CJ Sherbin (Donnie), and Raelynn Sherbin. He was very blessed with 9 great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his siblings Roger Lemasters (Patty), Conrad Noland, Cindy Lemasters, and Jim Lemasters (Vickie).
He is preceded in death by his parents Jane Lemasters and William Noland and his bonus parents Glenn Lemasters, Alice Noland, Lee Butler, and Carolyn Moore. His two sons Randy Noland, Allen Melton, and daughter-in-law Remy Noland.
Services will be held on 11:00 am, Friday, February 11, 2022, 1050 N 600 W Orem UT. Everyone is invited to come visit with the family it will be closed casket visitation starting at 10:00 am and we will follow with a veterans burial at the Orem Cemetery right after.
Lunch will also be served after the burial back at the location of the services in the cultural hall of the LDS chapel.
