Jerry Eldon Toomey's Obituary
Jerry Eldon Toomey passed away on 11 November 2014 in Draper, Utah. He is a dear sweet man who has many talents. He fought a valiant and honorable fight against cancer for over the last 2.5 years. Our family is very proud of his tolerance for pain for such a long time because of his noble desire to be able to stay in mortality with his family. We are very sad, yet very happy that he is now free from this trial, that his mind and body are now at peace. We have been truly blessed by countless prayers & services to our family. Our family has a great knowledge and faith that his spirit lives on because of the greatest gift of all from our Savior Jesus, the Atonement for our resurrection and freedom from our sins. He will always be with us in Spirit, just because you can't see something doesn't make it not true! He is now our Angel. His “Celebration of Life” service will be held on 21 November. He was born 4 March 1968 in Lompoc, California where he lived until age 11. He then lived in Ridgecrest, California where he graduated High School. He then served an honorable mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints from 1987 – 1989 in Louisiana Baton Rouge. He went to Brigham Young University where he earned a B.S. degree in Business Management emphasis in Information Systems in 1993. In 1994 he married Crystal Wisrock in the Los Angeles California Latter-Day Saint Temple and is sealed for time and all eternity. He has 3 daughters Amanda, Heidi and Hannah whom he adored and was a wonderful Father to. He was a computer network engineer which he enjoyed much. He loved all his church callings and did many excellent services to others through those opportunities that he had. He is survived by many wonderful family members whom he appreciated and loved very much. We love our honorable, loving and faithful Jerry!
