I can’t begin to tell you Sandra and your children, how very sorry I am at the loss for you of this amazing man! I have so many memories that I will cherish forever! I was always so impressed that he would not only call me on my birthday but also he would call all of my kids! Who does that?!! Uncle Jim!!!! That’s who! He was always so supportive and so willing to listen to whatever was going on. He loved his family so very much and was always so proud of them and all their accomplishments! Uncle Jim, you will be missed and always loved dearly!

My heart hurts right now I loved Uncle Jim, he was a good man. I remember one camping adventure out of many. My dad's motor home broke down at the point of the mountain, a few minutes went by and Uncle Jim pulled up behind us. We didn't know what we were going to do all of the sudden Jim said let's all go in ours. That was one of the thousands! I will forever miss my birthday call. A couple of years ago I was in the hospital Uncle Jim came by that day was special he bore his testimony with me he told me of the love of his family and of Christ, I will forever cherish that day I love you and your family. Rest in peace your mission is complete.

My thoughts and prayers are with Sandra, as well as your children and grandchildren, during this tender time. I loved Uncle Jim’s cheerfulness, his adventurous spirit, and his love of family. I’ll miss his annual birthday phone calls. It’s wonderful to think of the happy family reunion that is taking place today.

Uncle Jim was always such a fun man to be around. He was always full of laughter and fun story's. Uncle Jim actually invented his own way of folding a diaper. When Kristen was a baby, Uncle Jim, through reasoning and deduction, determined the least likely way to half to have physical contact with the messy part of the diaper. He was a Hoot! Uncle Jim was loving Husband, Father, Brother and Uncle. Uncle Jim tried very hard to call every one of his nieces and nephews every year on their birthdays. He was the instigator, main supporter, and the glue of family functions. What a huge gap he will leave in our family and our hearts.

My Uncle Jim was an amazing man, he was a hero, he was a successful business man, a family man, a great conversationalist who taught so many people valuable life lessons frequently by fireside sitting in a camp chair. I rode side by side with Jim for thousands of hours exploring the dirt roads of Utah and hunting learning about life, philosphy, religion, business, and random facts frequently extracted from the reader's digest. Growing up with the comraudery surrounding Jim, and my father, John, as well as their other brothers Dee, and Lafe was a so valuable to me. They shaped my mind and forged morals and instilled direction in me that made me the person I am. I am truely thankful for the oppertunity to have known and loved this man my whole life.
