Joan Jakeman, 75, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2024, surrounded by her family.
Born March 8, 1949, in Price, Utah, to Hugh Vernon and Ada Scott. She had three siblings: Jackie, Bill, and Janet.
In 1968, she married Darrell Jakeman and had daughters Jody and Shannon.
Her passions were: Playings cards, fishing, puzzles, gardening, walking the beach and spending quality time with her family. She was always smiling and laughing while having a good time.
She is survived by daughters Jody Jakeman (Todd) and Shannon Rust (Grant) and her grandchildren Jessica (Austin), Jacob, Joshua, and Julia Rust, with one great-grandchild on the way.
We love you, sweet mama. You were the best mom and Nammy.
