What a lovely picture of you, Brent (and Joan!) Oh, how this sweet gal will be missed! She was always serving someone...her husband, her family, her Church, neighbors and other friends. I first met her when we were at BYU, where she helped me navigate the rough waters of motherhood on a shoestring. How delighted I was, seven or eight years ago, to be able to reconnect. She was one of only three or four people I could tell anything. I want her family to know how lovingly she spoke of you all. You made her last year very special. What will so many people do this Christmas without Joan's fruit cake and other goodies? Perhaps we can carry on her tradition in our own individual ways. Until we meet again, dear friend!
