I can't tell you how much I admired and looked up to Joan. She embodied all the qualities of a woman and humanity that anyone would aspire to obtain. Joan lived life to the fullest as well as being kind, loving and compassionate. I'm grateful to have known her and have her example to live by.
Joan was in our discussion book on Good Reads. We all enjoyed talking books and really every other topic under the sun with her. She contributed so much to our discussions, and I will miss her. My sympathy to her husband, son and family.

Joan was a member of our historical romance book group on GoodReads, where we all met to share about books, family, travel, recipes, current events and anything else that caught our fancy. She was so much fun, and so knowledgeable and we all miss her so much. It was a privilege to have had her company. My deepest sympathies for her husband, family and friends.
