Joan Audrey Mabel Tice's Obituary
Joan Audrey Mabel Uzzell Tice passed away September 24, 2014, in American Fork, Utah. She was 86 and a blessing to the end. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by all those who knew her.
Born July 20, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York to Robert Kinney Uzzell and Florence Eleanor Hulda Mollberg, she was the second of two children.
She attended schools in Brooklyn, New York and Detroit, Michigan. She married Jack Tice on August 23, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York. The couple raised 5 children and ran their own utility pay station in Phoenix, Arizona. She moved to American Fork, Utah in July 2011 to live with her daughter.
Survived by Children, John P. Tice (Betty), Laguna Nigel, California; Jackie L. Roberts (Kurt), American Fork, Utah; James T. Tice (Lori), Vancouver, Washington; and Jeffery S. Tice (Kim), Tempe, Arizona, 20 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by her dear husband Jack, brother Robert, son Justin, and grandson Aaron.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 10:00 am in Tempe, Arizona, at the Grace Community Church, 1220 East Southern Avenue. Interment will be at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, 719 North 27th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona.
