Joanne Buttcane Mizera's Obituary
Joanne Buttcane Mizera, 60, passed away 21 May, 2022 in Ogden UT. Joanne was born 11 May, 1962 in Blackfoot, Idaho. She had four siblings: Kathy Reinhart, Linda Wood, Billy Buttcane, and Mike Buttcane. She married Brad C. Mizera on 21 November, 1981 and was later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple. Brad died in Layton, UT on 3 Mar 2010. Joanne had two children Brandon Mizera and Corey Mizera.
Joanne enjoyed crossword puzzles, card and board games, collecting porcelain dolls, reading ghost stories and sharing them with others, and having fun with her extended family. She was especially fond of telling stories to her great-niece Abby and going bug catching together in the front yard. Joanne was generally quiet but had a playful sense of humor that only the people closest to her really got to experience. She loved her family and always put them first, even at the sacrifice of her own comfort.
She is survived by her two sons Brandon and Corey, her grandchildren Leona and Salem, her siblings, and a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband Brad Mizera. Joanne will be greatly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts.
Joanne will be buried with her husband, Brad Mizera, in the Taylorsville Cemetery in Taylorsville, UT. A small service will be held on 25 Jun 2022. Additional details will be provided to family and friends.
