Jodi Willard Lund's Obituary
Jodi Willard Lund, 61, passed away February 4, 2021, after a courageous battle with Ataxia (SCA 7).
She was born October 28,1959 to Sherm and Donna Willard of Ogden Utah. She graduated from Ben Lomand High School in 1978. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved serving in her various callings, especially Relief Society and Young Womens. Jodi always had the brightest smile and loved to socialize with everyone. She loved baking cookies, decorating for the holidays, shopping, and serving others. She loved everything pink, M&Ms, and Mountain Dew. She also loved to travel! Her favorite place was San Diego where she could be by the ocean. She loved to travel with her family, her best friend Darla, and her sisters for their yearly “Sisters Trip”. Her family brought her the most joy.
She married Barry Neil Lund on March 1, 1980 in the Ogden Temple. They were married for 40 years. Barry took care of her until the end. Together they had 4 children, 8 grandchildren and one on the way.
She is survived by her father, Sherman Willard, 5 siblings, Barry Lund, her children Nick (Jaime) Lund, Brad (Jana) Lund, Mandi (Grant) Newbold, and Jamie Nilson. She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna Willard.

A viewing will be held in her honor on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 6-8 pm at Premier Mortuary 5335 S 1950 W Roy, UT 84067. Due to the restrictions with Covid-19, a private funeral will be held for Jodi’s immediate and extended family on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 11 am, following a viewing from 9:30-10:30 am at the Layton West Stake Center. 1715 W 1600 N Layton, UT 84041. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the National Ataxia Foundation (www.ataxia.org) in her memory. Interment will be at the Myers Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Ogden Ut.
