Joe Richard Jiron's Obituary
Joe R. Jiron, or Richard as we knew him, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 30, 2019. Richard was born July 31, 1939 to Abe and Laura Jiron in Salt Lake City.
Richard was very independent all his life, he could afford to be, for he never married. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He loved his family dearly and would do anything for them, which he did often. He liked to go on vacations and always took them with family members, although he had many friends.
He had many interests and enjoyed every one of them, also developed expertise in each, he was always one of the best in what he did. His hobbies were, fishing, hunting, shooting pool, playing cards with family and friends and also in casinos.
He came from a very large family, but is only survived by his sister Judy and brothers Leonard and Abe (Jr.) and many nephews and nieces. His niece "Precious" and her family took care of Richard in his declining years. Many thanks to them.
