Julie lit a candle in memory of Joe Linan

Joe was a very very special man in my life. Oddly enough, he grew up in the same area I had left when me and my family moved to Payson , Utah. We met a few years later through a mutual friend. I became friends instantly with him and Barbie. We were almost inseparable! I will ALWAYS cherish the special friendship we had. I saw him up to the night they decided to take him to the hospital. Very cool night, I must say. I never spoke to him or heard his sweet voice again. I guess the Lord has other plans for him . I was heartbroken learning he had passed away, and not getting to say farewell to his loving soul. Joe, I’m sincerely sorry I didn’t get the chance to say goodbye; but we both knew it just wouldn’t be a pleasant and heartfelt “Goodbye”. For that I will always be sad, but we had some awesome times together up until the time he became ill so quickly. I remember his last words to me, and will Never forget him. Joe , thank you for your loving heart and soul. I’m very confident we will meet again. I hope you’re stilling bowling and kicking butts at Cribbiage!! “. 15..2 15..4 15..6.. 7,8,&9. The way you counted those cards was the best! I count the very same way when I find someone who knows about that card game. It’s truly the COOLEST card game ever. Thanks for making me a great teammate. We DID show them how Cribbage was meant to be played. Like the Champs that we WERE!Enjoy Heaven cuz I’m Sure everyone LOVES you there. Be ready for some cards when we do reunite!!RIP Cheech .
PEACE OUT, Baby
You’re true and loving friend

So glad we were able to come this summer and watch him play corn holes. He was full of life and had so many interesting stories to share. I know he will be missed by so many.
