My heart breaks for John and his family. I met John at EL where we became friends as we worked together on the Safety/Evacuation/Emerg procedures for the company. He was always smiling and always had something funny to say. I would chat with him often as he waited for his ride.
I do believe that John will be looking over his family and friends, silently egging someone on to do something stupid, commenting on a 4x4, or just being funny.
I hope Donalee and his children feel his love, and the love and care from all the people that John touched in his short life.

John had the biggest most friendly heart. He was always genuinely concerned for the well-being of all those around him. We all miss his big smile and the warmth that he generated whenever he came into a room or even joined a Zoom meeting. When John believed in something, he was "all in." And, there was nothing that he was "all in" for more than his family. That kindness, love and respect for his family radiated. Donalee (and the rest of the family) -- all my best. My heart goes out to you all. May comfort come as we continue John's legacy by remembering him and being more kind, compassionate, warm and friendly to all we encounter. Thanks for being you John!!

My Name is Paul Aalders from Nova.Scotia Canada and came across John's obituary while.checking out another obituary of a friend from Nova Scotia ,Stanley DeAdder.
John sounded like a great friend to many.
Aalders.is not a common name and originally came.from Holland to Nova Scotia in the Kentville area where there are many Aalders ,all coming from one man named Peter Aalders, my 5th ggfather

in honor of John.

I’ve known John for about 4 years, and every time I saw he he would greet me with “Taylor how the heck are you!” with the most energy, seeing him always made me smile. The last time I saw John was after one of my shows that he came to watch, he was the first person i hugged after the show and he told me how good I did, I will forever be grateful for John and his support for me even though i’m just one of his sons friends.

John adored his family and Donalee so much. I’ll never forget how happy he was when we went to Cancun, Mexico for Presidents Club in March of 2017; not just to take his wife on the trip, but to get her the “smokin hot red dress” she wanted for our dinner to celebrate our teams’ accomplishments. I’ll miss johns laugh and friendship, but I’ll miss seeing him dropped off and picked up by his lovely wife at work every day most. You two are a beautiful example of a loving relationship to anyone who knew you. I’m so grateful I got to know you both and my heart aches you are going through this. All my love, Maggie Anderson
