John Charles Adams' Obituary
On December 24, 2015 John Adams, a wonderful man, our beloved step-father,
grandfather, husband, father, son, brother, cousin and friend passed away peacefully from complications of alzheimers at the Veterans Hospital.
He is survived by his step son Mark, step daughter Michelle and their families including 3 grandchildren, Nick, Noah and Landon. Preceded in John's death was his mother, sister, wife Jackie, and daughter Kari. John grew up in Salt Lake City and graduated from
Granite High School. He joined the Navy serving 4 years in Vietnam. He then became an Iron Worker which he dedicated himself to until he retired. John had many accomplishments as an Iron worker and was a Forman on many jobs. He was a devoted husband and father to his step children for over 30 years. He was amazing in dealing with illness and death of his wife Jackie helping her when times were very difficult. John enjoyed dancing and going on cruises with his wife and friends. He would have done anything for his friends and
family. John was very funny even into his disease sharing his laughter and love with us until the end. He will be and has been missed for quite some time. We feel at peace knowing that John has been sent back home with his wife and family that
preceded his death.
We want to send heart felt THANK YOU to the VA memory care and Bristol Hospice that cared so dearly for John.
John will join his Wife at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary at 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City, Utah.
