JOHN BRIAN BEHNEY
October 7, 1943 --December 15, 2020
John Brian Behney, 77, of Running Springs, CA.,
passed away peacefully on December 15, 2020 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He suffered for many years from Alzheimers .
He was born on October 7, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah and was the son of the late Marian Ostler Behney and Myron Buchanan Behney. He was married to the love of his life, Sue (Miller) Behney for 50 years prior to her death on December 13, 2015. He is survived by his sister, Marianne Behney Cooley (Doug) of Cottonwood Heights, Utah and numerous nieces and nephews. John grew up in Salt Lake City and attended Olympus High School, graduating in 1961. He went on to graduate from The University of Utah with a Masters
Degree in Science. It was at "The U" that he met Sue, his wife. They were married on October 2, 1964. His career took him to Riverside, CA. where he was employed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over
30 years.
He and Sue loved the Lake Arrowhead area where he
retired and lived most of his remaining years.
The family would like to thank all of Johns' wonderful
caregivers for the compassionate and loving care they gave to him at "The Auberge" in Salt Lake City.
